The replacement parts I purchased on Are no where near quality of original. The pot Are marketed m with a sharpie to identify high or tweeter mid range. However, I spent a lot of time after being in the hospital meticulously restoring these speakers so am left with what.
Quite frankly, I don't think made a wise decision. They were a little scratchy but worked. The originals Are so much better.
I am sure these could use a cleaning. My advice, always leave well enough alone. There is a marked difference in sound quality using the l pads and replacement tweeters offered on. Four 4 Ar 3a potentiometers pots from a mint, one owner pair of AR3A speakers.
If you know how to clean these, by all means use these instead of the l pads sold on. I should have left them as they were and perhaps cleaned the pots. The speakers were working fine when I decided to replace pots, caps, and tweeters - because am getting old wanted keep them as nice possible for posterity.
They look pretty darned good but as I said, were a little scratchy.
