When you press cut, the tonearm lifts and stays put. This could probably be adjusted, but I wouldn't know how. Note that I am selling this turntable for parts or repair. Hitachi HT-660 quartz direct drive turntable up for sale is.

I am including the original head shell with wires, but no cartridge. But it has been tested with a functioning cartridge. I will describe the condition and issues thoroughly here: the turntable is in great physical. The dust cover has scratches and marks, but plinth, platter, other external parts are in clean condition.

It does not return to the arm rest. The automatic start does not in the right place. Turning it all the way to 3 or does not move tonearm as should when is balanced.

It starts just shy of the record. The turntable powers on, the cuing functions properly, and I was able to get good sound out of it. The anti-skate wheel feels very loose and appears not to work.

The automatic return does not function at all. I have no extra cartridges that can spare.
