I had the top off of it and motors do spin then stop. I would fix this,and keep it for nostalgic reasons. It looks to be a very nice unit, but will need servicing.
All the lights work. Today I am listing a very nice looking Zenith mc 9070 cassette deck as parts unit. I am not an expert on these kind of electronics. I do see on other listings parts can be obtained for it if need.
