It is a vintage item probably from the 1920s. It has 9 taps with an embossed label under the knob. Please see my other offers for more interesting radio and audio items tubes. It measures by 2 inches at the board with taps, and total length is about 4 inches, not counting knob or shaft.
It is an early attenuator that should be great for a tube amplifier. I got this loose, so do not know what it came from. It has two type 38 resistors, a 38f, and 38g, along with 9 other precision resistors. You are buying on a Western Electric type attenuator.
