You are buying on a new old stock Western Electric type KS-8165 db meter. The case is black Bakelite, measuring almost inches in diameter at front. It was made bye weston and may have been for a piece of military equipment, as has 1945 date. Please see my other offers for more interesting radio and audio items tubes.

Shipping weight is 14 ounces. It appears to be designed fit in a inch panel hole. It comes in its original box, and shows good continuity. The scale is from infinity to 6 db.

It is a nice new meter that should be useful for someone.
