This is modern production potentiate. With years i've developed deep respect toward Sherwood gear especial tube. I also have many other controls available.
All these issues have been addressed by this volume control. Specs: resistance: 100k each tap type: audio loudness tap: 40k compatible with model's: Sherwood S7150, S7250knob fit: some model's came knurled knob. If a volume pot is unbalanced one speaker will sound louder than the other. See the link I have been servicing Sherwood units for a while.

By now the majority of 60-year-old volume controls have deteriorated carbon resistance paths. Knob fit: some Sherwood model's came with knurled. These are high quality factory made potentiates.
Restoration kits also available. This half moon shaft tip fits the knurled knob well. Only positive results and well balanced sound.
